Dr. Stephen Portch, search adviser to the Board of Visitors, is conducting focus groups and open forums with faculty, staff, students, alumni and community leaders.

It is my pleasure to invite you to meet with Dr. Steve Portch, the adviser working with the Board of Visitors on the presidential search and transition process. While there will be a number of opportunities to meet in town-hall style meetings over the first few weeks of the semester, Dr. Portch was hopeful that a number of you would like the opportunity to have a session with him, as a group of chairs and directors. Dr. Portch will be here Monday and Tuesday of next week, and he will conduct an Open Forum to which faculty, staff and students will be invited, and he will also conduct this session for chairs and directors.
I hope this date and time will work with your busy schedules: Monday, Sept. 8, 2-3:30 p.m., in the University Student Commons Theater.
