Facilities
The places of VCU Life Sciences offer students and faculty a rich network for learning and research. Our resources span Virginia Commonwealth University, from the Monroe Park Campus to the VCU Medical Center to the Inger and Walter Rice Center for Environmental Life Sciences. Partnerships also exist with the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park, providing the people of VCU Life Sciences direct access to the biosciences industry.

The administrative offices of VCU Life Sciences are housed in the Eugene P. and Lois E. Trani Center for Life Sciences, as well as two research centers and state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms.

Acquired as a gift from Inger Rice, the VCU Rice Center serves as a major component of VCU Life Sciences. A living laboratory, this 342-acre property provides unique learning, teaching and research experiences for students, faculty and the community.
