Airport

Richmond International Airport (RIC) is served by seven air carriers, including AirTran Airways, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, United Airlines, US Airways and Air Canada. There are frequent connections to the major international airports in North America, including Washington - Dulles (IAD), Newark - Liberty (EWR), Toronto - Pearson (YYC), Philadelphia (PHL), New York (JFK) and Atlanta - Hartsfield/Jackson (ATL).

Train

The Northeast Regional line of Amtrak offers several trains each day between Richmond and Washington, DC and further north along the eastern seaboard of the US, including Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore and Boston.

Visas

A citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States must usually obtain a visa.

Travelers coming to the U.S. for tourism or business for 90 days or less from qualified countries may be eligible to visit the U.S. without a visa if they meet the visa waiver program requirements. Additionally, visa-free travel is possible for some nationals of Canada and Bermuda under certain circumstances.

Questions are best directed to the appropriate embassy or consulate in your country of residence, but some help may be obtained from Chris Marks.
