Second summer: Focus on research breadth Completion of research project
You'll return to the institute, this time a seasoned veteran. You'll walk in with a plan, from discussions with your BBSI research adviser over the academic year, mapping what needs to be done to reach a satisfying completion of your project.
Minicourses that expand your horizons
This time around, courses will go beyond your research (while still responding to the desires of the clientele). Examples are: Proteomics: The What and the How and Computer Modeling of Complex Biological Phenomena
View toward the future
By the end of the second summer, you will have met with over a dozen visiting scientists and learned about the route by which they became who they are. Through this and more focused guidance, you may get an idea of how you might take the next step after graduation.
