Examples of things you might be good at

We're looking for abilities that would help a group of diverse people solve big, integrated problems in bioinformatics and bioengineering.

Specifically, you might be good at:

  • seeing how organisms work (organismal biology)
  • seeing how cells and subcellular assemblies work (molecular biology)
  • figuring out how systems work (engineering)
  • quantitatively assessing truth (statistics)
  • translating reality into abstract representations (mathematical modeling)
  • organizing and manipulating huge chunks of information (computer science)
