CES faculty and staff are major contributors to the growing research mission of VCU's 500-acre field station on the James River. The Rice Rivers Center, in turn, provides exciting opportunities for student based research and hands-on training in disciplines ranging from wetland biogeochemistry to endangered species recovery.
The day will begin around six hours before high tide. Researchers will prepare enough food and water for the day ahead, and double check that all field gear is loaded up.
