Where will you live?

You will live in luxurious Gladding Apartments. The plants are nice, but the important thing, don't forget, is location, location, location, and Gladding Apartments certainly has that. Here's a map. Note especially that it's just a short walk to the Life Sciences Building, to the medical campus shuttle bus stop, and to Cary St. Gym.

Students making up the new and returning BBSI classes will occupy most of one wing of Gladding Apartments. Each apartment has two or four double-occupancy bedrooms, a central living area, a bathroom, and a kitchen area. The kitchen has a sink, a large refrigerator/freezer, small microwave, and an electric range. We can offer you pretty much all of the basic coooking utensils (but if you need your daily latte, you may want to supplement). The living room comes furnished with sofa, chair, coffee and end tables. The bedrooms have twin-size bunk beds, two desks, two dressers, two chairs two wardrobes, and fast internet connections. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Here's a floor plan.

You'll get two sheets, a bath towel, and a wash cloth (replenished once a week). Pillows are your own affair. You'll also need to bring your own phone if you like. The rooms are wired for both telephone and internet.

Coin-operated washers and dryers are available on the premises.

Your address will be:

Gladding Residence Center, Virginia Commonwealth University, 711 W. Main St, Richmond VA 23220-5500
