Web Mail - mail1 and mail2 web
interface for faculty and staff.
VCU Mail Anywhere
VCU Mail Anywhere is a web interface for
Students, Faculty, and Staff to access their
VCU
Lotus Notes Email and calendar from a
browser such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. VCU Mail Anywhere requires a
Notes account and a Java-enabled browser. It is not necessary to configure your
browser to access your mail or calendar. VCU Mail Anywhere runs on
multiple
servers for redundancy. If the primary site is
unavailable, please use the secondary site.
Web Mail
Web Mail is available for faculty and staff who use either the mail1 or
mail2 mail server. These servers will be phased out by December 31, 2006.
Faculty and staff with accounts on mail1 or mail2 are being moved to the VCU Mail
Anywhere servers. VCU’s Web Mail is an email
client based on the World Wide Web and accessed using a Web browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. Look on the
Web
Mail Help for an ‘Introduction to Web Mail’ and answers to specific
questions.
