We live in a time when the study of complex biomedical systems not only provides gigabytes of data for analysis, but also requires us to analyze complex systems at numerous organizational levels in order to understand them. More and more, advanced mathematical and computational tools and techniques are being used to address these research problems. Today, I will talk about one example of how supercomputing can be used to understand complexity in biological and biomedical systems.
